The Poppies is a self-contained high quality cottage with lots of beams and character. Sleeping 2 guests the cottage has been newly converted in part of the Georgian wing of Middletown Farm.  We are very pleased that The Poppies has received a Gold Award from Quality in Tourism.

The Poppies entrance is through its own private garden. Garden Furniture and Barbeque are provided. Enjoy afternoon tea on a sunny day overlooking the Plum Orchard.  Parking is adjacent to the cottage.

The accommodation comprises kitchen/breakfast room, separate lounge, large double bedroom and ensuite bathroom. 

The cosy and relaxing Lounge has two settees, Flat screen TV with Freeview/DVD player and Stereo CD player for your enjoyment. There is a log burning stove perfect for those cold winter evenings. Information on all the local attractions that the area has to offer are available in the cottage.

The kitchen has been newly fully fitted with Halogen hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer with breakfast table overlooking your garden. Enjoy your breakfast watching the many birds that visit the gardens.

From the lounge the staircase leads to the double bedroom with high beamed ceiling with large wardrobe, dressing table and plenty of storage cupboards. There is a new ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over, shaver point and hairdrier. 

Facilities include full central heating including a log burning stove in the lounge.

Bed linen (duvets) and towels are all provided for you.
